Partner Academy BizTalk Class: Intro weekJanuary 27, 2007 13:34This week the introduction started of the “Microsoft Partner Academy What’s New in BizTalk Server 2006” class. ![]() The first week was just an introduction to get familiar with the SharePoint site. We had to fill out a pre-class survey and a small bio. To get to know the other students, there is an Icebreaker question on the front-page that should be answered by everyone. The class is quite big with 50 students who are instructed by 2 experienced BizTalk instructors from Microsoft: Dustin Sell and Allan Naim. The responses to questions on our e-mails are fast and good and they also try to start interesting discussions over the e-mail about subjects like SOA. During the course they will also spend some time on the items that the students are interested in Like ESB. It is already possible to take a look at all the study material for the upcoming 4 weeks. I was afraid that the course would be just another kind of sales training, but I’m happily surprised. The study material contains documents, movie files and PowerPoint presentations and it will take really 60 to 90 minutes a day to study everything. Next week the first real study week starts and I’m really looking forward to it. Of course I will post my experiences over here.
