The BizTalk 2006 Pre-requisites CAB files

February 22, 2007   15:28

Today I was installing BizTalk 2006 on my machine and I needed to find the Pre-requisites cab files. Below are the locations for the cab files:

*update 23-02-2006*
You won’t need these CAB files if you have an internet connection during the installation. The installer will download and install the required files automatically for you when there is an internet connection.

  1. Hi Edwin,

Why install BizTalk. I’ve already done that job for you. At the MES-NAS you can find a great VPC, with all the tools you need!
Perhaps even better: copy my own VPC: it’s loaded with all kind of samples!

    Regards,
    Lex

BTW: if I ain’t wrong, you can also find some Sales documents regarding BizTalk.

  2. Hi Lex,
I was going to copy that installation today. But I wanted to try out the BizTalk installation myself to see if the installation is really that easy as they say.

  3. Hi Lex,

Can I get a copy of the VPC for BizTalk you are referring to. I am a starting to learn Biztalk on my own and the installation requirements for this product are way beyond my IT skills. I searched MSDN for a VPC on Biztalk but MS has not published one yet. Please let me know if you are willing to share the VPC. Thanks

  4. Hi Vinod,

I don’t think it is possible to provide you with a copy as it contains licensed software from our company Ordina.

Most of the msdn developer versions are quite easy to install with the default settings. If you download the newest versions you almost can’t go wrong.

You can find instructions for a development setup at these MSDN pages.

  5. Hi Vinod,

Edwin already answered your question. He’s a collegue from me, and the VPC I am referring to, contains a number of license keys my company payed for. So I am not allowed to distribute the VPC.
And, as Edwin says too, I think it’s good practice to have done that installation yourself. If you need any help with the installation, please let us know, we’re happy to help you!

    Regards,
    Lex
